Each format uses a different system to tier golfers. Pick the one that fits your group.

Vegas Odds

Tiered by Odds

Golfers are grouped into tiers based on their pre-tournament Vegas odds to win. Backing longer shots from lower tiers is rewarded with a bonus multiplier.

  • Tiers set by odds ranges (e.g. favorites, mid-range, longshots)
  • Upsets from long-shot tiers earn bonus strokes deducted
  • Higher variance - great for big groups

Pick 5

Pick 5

Each participant picks 5 golfers — up to 3 Contenders (OWGR top 50) and at least 2 Field Players (outside top 50). Designate one as your winner pick for a −10 bonus.

  • 5 picks per entry: max 3 Contenders, min 2 Field Players
  • Designate a winner pick for a −10 stroke bonus if correct
  • Tiebreaker by closest guess to the winning score

Live Draft

Snake Draft

Participants take turns picking golfers in snake draft order - round 1 goes 1→N, round 2 reverses N→1. Everyone ends up with the same number of picks.

  • Snake draft order balances early/late draft positions
  • Live or async draft with configurable time per pick
  • Commissioner sets or randomizes draft order
